My name is Damien Riley and I am a freelance writer and teacher based in the High Desert of Southern California. I’m married to a lovely wife who specializes in graphic design and we have 3 kids. I have a Master of Arts degree from California State University, Fullerton in English with an emphasis in language, writing, and rhetoric. Since graduation in 1998, I’ve dedicated myself to using it in the real world. In 1997 I started a career as a public school teacher and since then I’ve worked and added copywriting, web copy and design, and blogging to my resume. I put all my knowledge to work for my clients.
I’ve written for a variety of websites and blogs and published a short story on teaching for Corwin Press called “Finding Miguel.” I’ve started professional websites and blogs for clients, and have put my freelance skills to work on freelance jobs ranging from product reviews to business and finance.
