L stands for linkage. Creating and placing links correctly is the bread and butter of blogging. You will be giving credit to blogs you link to and in some cases, you are earning money by doing so. Google gives special credit to your serp when you have links to keywords. For example, if you link “roller coasters are good for you” then Google will be more likely to include you in a search of that string. This can become very strategic for internet marketers. If you are looking to increase your blog’s value, you may want to use well chosen keywords and links to sites you respect and use.

There are a few steps I use to seo optimize my old posts with keywords. Let me share them with you:

1) Once you’ve chosen an old post you think holds value for your readers, use Google Analytics to analyze and choose 5 top keywords from the past to that post. Put them on a notepad somewhere.

2) Go through and update the post as needed giving mind to the keywords you plan to put in.

New House

Getting a new house really broke us, literally and figuratively. I love the way we got to move in and it was all ours but I don’t love the way I have to write a huge mortgage payment to the bank once a month. I guess it’s a trade off and one that I’ll get used to eventually but it’s really hurting right now! I think the other small expenses took a toll on me too. Things like getting all new window treatments and getting directv deals weren’t big expensive in their own right and I actually found some ways to save money but after I did about ten of them they really added up. I just don’t know why in the world people don’t tell you about all the extras when you buy a house but you know, I guess it doesn’t matter because you’ve got to buy them anyway no matter how hard they hit you! Living in a house of your own makes it worth it though, so I’m happy.
